Meet DeAnne

Hi, I’m DeAnne Bakke, the photographer behind Precious Moments Photography—and I believe the best photographs aren’t just beautiful pictures… they’re the moments that bring you right back to how you felt.

My love for photography started when I was just 8 years old. What began as a childhood curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion and, eventually, a career I’m incredibly grateful to have spent more than 30 years pursuing.

I’m a people person through and through, and love to be behind my camera, getting to know the people in front of it. I love capturing the real smiles, the belly laughs, the little glances, the crazy family moments, the quiet connections, and all those perfectly imperfect pieces that make your story uniquely yours.

Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my craft through education, seminars, conventions, and plenty of hands-on experience. I’ve also been honored to receive the title of “Best Photographer” multiple times within my community. But while awards are wonderful, the greatest compliment is a client who trusts me with their memories and comes back year after year.

More Than Just a Photo Session

Whether I’m photographing a newborn, a graduating senior, a family, a couple in love, a beautiful wedding day, or celebrating someone in one of life’s many seasons, my goal is always the same: to make you feel comfortable, have a little fun, and create images that feel like YOU.

I’m not interested in stiff poses and forced smiles. I want your session to be an experience you actually enjoy! We’ll laugh, we’ll have fun, and yes… I may tell you to “just ignore the camera and love on each other.” 😉

Because when you’re relaxed and having a good time, that’s when the magic happens.

I believe photography should be natural, timeless, authentic, and personal. Years from now, I want you to look at your images and not only see how you looked, but remember exactly what that moment felt like.

Behind the Camera

When I’m not photographing my amazing clients, I’m enjoying life with my husband, our 5 children and 4 grandchildren. Family means everything to me, and I think that’s one of the reasons I care so deeply about preserving the little moments that become the big memories.

I’m proud to call East Tennessee home, and I’m excited to continue growing both my roots and my photography business right here in this beautiful community.
